Hi, I'm Kate.

I am from the small scenic town of Eminence, Missouri, where I grew up barefoot and swimming in the crystal clear river during summer days with my two sisters at our parents’ resort. With that kind of whimsical childhood, it was only natural that I came to love God’s beautiful creation and try to capture it on camera. Although I also love to paint and draw, photography had my heart.

After graduating from the University of Missouri, I moved to Tulsa where I met my husband, (who says you can’t meet someone from a young singles church group?) got married and now have a lovely home in Broken Arrow where we raise our sweet little boy and spunky little girl.

I love being a mother, and my love for photography really took off after my son was born. I wanted to capture every moment and hold onto it forever! Turning my passion into a business was only natural and something I had always dreamed about. I want to give my clients exactly what I would want when choosing a photographer to invest in - a perfect mixture of portrait and lifestyle captures…something fresh and artistic and maybe a little dreamy.

I love trying new things and making every image unique - from subject, layout, lighting and background scenery. Then comes the editing, and I do love to edit! I may be a bit of a nerd when it comes to my love for Photoshop; I can take a beautiful image and make it stunning! It’s so much fun!

When I’m not editing or making my kids pose while I practice some new equipment or props on them, you can find me reading, gardening or traveling back to my hometown of Eminence, Missouri to play in the river with my family.
